Stansted Mountfitchet Windmill
Brick tower mill built in 1787. Most of original machinery remains as left when mill ceased working in 1910, including three pairs of stones and bolter (not working). Recent major restoration.
Sails able to turn in suitable wind conditions.

Bank Holiday Monday 25 August Fete at the windmill 2pm to 6pm Children Bring your teddy and parachute and watch him/her parachute from the top of the windmill. Each teddy gets a certificate. Best parachute gets a special prize
