2010 Essex Food and Drink Awards

 

The Essex Chronicle Media Group's annual Food and Drink Awards, a huge celebration of the best of the region's food and drink, as been launched. The awards celebrate the best of the county's food and drink scene and have grown immensely since their inception in 2008. They are now widely recognised as the Oscars of the Essex food scene.

The voting is now closed. Thank you to everyone who voted. The finalists will be revealed on Thursday 8th July on this web site. During the summer months the judging will take place and each category judge will choose their winner after visiting each of the finalists.

The live cooking finals to find the winners of our three chef categories will also take place - Chef of the year, Chef of the Future and Young Chef of the Year. The winners will be revealed at a glittering awards ceremony at Braxted Park, Great Braxted on Tuesday 5th October.
